MerchantServer™ now running in Nova Scotia!
Wiz-Tec is pleased to announce that after 1 full year the NSIFTE Merchant
Server™ program is a complete success.
While the system itself was installed in less than 6 weeks, the program
initially ran into some hurdles in relation to
communications with the actual sites (Gasbars and C-stores). However,
those problems were quickly resolved and
the system is now running smoothly, and almost completely automatically.
The industry Merchant Server™ applies to is manifest, but essentially
one could say that Merchant Server ™ serves any
and all types of claim orientated industries, and the process the Merchant
Server™ uses is not unlike that which most
credit card or manual claim facilities deploy today. A simple, 4 step
process which has merely been incorporated into the
Merchant Server™ in such a way as to provide a Merchant or Claims
processor the same functionality that is deployed by
Banks and large Credit companies such as Visa, MasterCard, or American
Express.
The claim mechanisms deployed by the Merchant Server™ are as varied
as the methods themselves. Merchant Server™ is
designed to incorporate all methods so as to be as dexterous as the many
types of models existing. Merchant Server™
essentially does things the way you want it to… regardless of your
preference or process
Wiz-Tec felt that in order to provide maximum efficiency, the system
needed to be as automated and redundant as was
possible, thereby providing the customer with the best value possible
for their dollar.
The system itself is designed in a modular fashion:
1) Merchant Server™
2) ADR (Automated Data Retrieval) Program
3) POS (Point of Sale) sites.

Wiz-Tec is very pleased with the results of the program, and now plans
to move on to the next deployment, which they
eagerly hope will be for a real-time credit/fleet card processing platform.
